I'm a young developer that is passionate about the Svelte Ecosystem and modern web dev technology in general.

I really like to customize my tooling such as my OS, IDE and keyboard to my personal preference. That's why I only use Linux (Arch) and a custom keyboard these days. I'm also starting to get into VSCode Extension development and simultaneously checking out NeoVim and Emacs Doom.

Hopefully this website will give you a better impression of me as a professional and also as a person.

Some of my projects 🛠️

💉 MEDNET Terminservice
done

A vaccine-appointment booking platform for COVID-19 vaccines and other appointments. Over 40.000 users have booked their vaccinations and several large medical facilities use the service. This project certainly helped combat a global pandemic and of that I am very proud. As the sole developer this is the biggest project that I've worked on to this day.

⌨️ Kmonad
done

I had to live without my custom keyboard and all it's perks for a while. Being forced to make due with a regular keyboard, I at least wanted my layout and custom keybindings back. This posed some challenges, so I created some config files and shell scripts.

Building ergonomic keyboards ⌨️

This is the Iris Rev. 2. It's the first one I've built.

Features:

  • 54 keys (Regular Full-Size-Board has about double the keys)
  • column staggered because your fingers have different lengths
  • tented for more natural wrist angle
  • Micro-USB (to PC) + TRRS (between halves)
  • Workman Layout because QWERTY just makes no sense at all

I built this from scratch. The case is 3D-printed. It really has revolutionized the way I think about keyboards. At first it was challenging to live with this only about half the keys. Now I don't even use the top-most row and the outer-most column. So I can actually live with about 36 keys. That means I never have to move my fingers more than one column/row from the home row. All the missing characters are accessed through layers (hold backspace + X/M/V = Number 1/2/3).

Playing Guitar 🎸

This is me playing Devil on my Shoulder from Billy Talent.

I started playing about 4 years ago. I'm self taught as with most my other skills/passions.

The gentle art

I started hitting the mat in 2021 and found another passion in it. Getting into a flow state while rolling is one of the most gratifying experiences of my everyday life.
